About
I have 18 years of experience as a video journalist and a filmmaker. I firmly believe there’s always something new to learn, and I will never be content with my skill set. For example, after a decade working in a newsroom, I returned to school in 2022 to obtain an MA in business journalism and a specialization in documentary filmmaking from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism. This endeavor expanded my journalism and filmmaking capabilities, bolstered my confidence, and motivated me to continue my passion for storytelling grounded in truth and fact. The stories I gravitate to the most are about social and socioeconomic issues and corporate accountability.
I am currently working on a personal documentary exploring the lives of adults with facial differences (cleft lips, Bell’s palsy, Crouzon syndrome, etc.) and how their facial differences have shaped them.
Most importantly, I am a father to an amazing son.
